Makeup is the most intimate expression of artistry. For the artist, the challenge is to interpret and communicate individual beauty through a talking, feeling, breathing canvas.

About Christine Cho

Christine has always been captivated by art. Drawing, painting and blending progressed from sidewalk to runway, from colouring books to magazines. Somewhere between an English Literature degree at the University of Toronto and Professional Makeup training at George Brown College, a hobby turned into a career.

“I’ve always been fascinated by makeup; it’s such a creative medium for artistic expression…I used to think that being a professional makeup artist was too good to be true – how could you do something so fun while calling it ‘work’? Creating beautiful art while making people feel good about themselves is incredibly fulfilling.”

Before becoming a makeup artist, Christine was no stranger to the beauty scene. Having been a former Miss Canada and national representative at Miss World 2000, Christine experienced first-hand challenges in front of the camera, behind the scenes; on stage and backstage, allowing for a truly well rounded understanding of the beauty industry and her clients.

Her many work, travel, and life experiences contributed to Christine’s unique palette of training, skills and techniques. Her meticulous attention to detail coupled with her empathetic eye towards clients make Christine the ideal choice for a diverse range of makeup needs.
